No one can stop us!

The harvest has ended a few weeks ago, but for us the time to rest has yet to come. As soon as we brought the grapes into the cellar we had to roll up our sleeves and go back into the nature: this time not among the vines but among our olive groves.

We are all here to split our tasks and share the labour but also lots of satisfactions. Because if it is true that if you work in a family business you could bring home work’s problems and viceversa, it is also true that for us there is nothing better than to sit down at the table and talk about how things are going, to take decisions together and, of course, to argue, as every family does.

So we are under the olive groves, every single one of us: Dad Maurizio, Elisa, Renata, our helper Valentina and the tireless worker Grandma Renata, that after supervising the entire harvest, wants to control that also with the olives nothing goes wrong.  She supports herself on her cane and sometimes she moves the branches to check that everything is alright. The gathering is challenging but it rewards us as well.

And also the climate, for now, has been good: a lot of sun and little cold, a perfect weather to work best.

And, this oil, will keep us company for the all this year: it will season the traditional Tuscan dishes or it will be used alone, with a little bread ( that, let’s say it, we really like it!)
